New boxing game in early development.  Free (pay what you want) download on itch.

I'm gonna give it a try

That looks pretty good. I ended up not likely Undisputed as much as I thought I would.

I may slowly move towards PC gaming now that console prices are out of control. The indie and retro game scene on PC is much better and I finally have a decent PC to run games on with a Core Ultra 7 processor and 32GB of RAM. I also have a GeForce RTX 3050 that I want to install once I get a better power supply for the PC.

Re: moving to PC: there are so many older console games that can be emulated as well, ethics aside.  Considering the reduced processing power required to run them you can put an entire library on an external SSD.

If you ever do make that move, and considering how into trains you are, we could have some real fun in multiplayer pushing cars around in games like Railroader.

I got into the playtest for Proto Boxing on Steam.  I can't tell if the version on itch is different from Steam, but I've spent more time with it and after learning some of the mechanics am finding it quite enjoyable.

I'll most likely be playing retro and indie games like this when I make the switch to PC so I won't have to worry about having an expensive or over-powered PC.

The only AAA game I'm currently interested in is AC: Black Flag.

What's your budget going to be?  Are you going desktop or laptop?

I'm not a fan of laptops and already have the desktop: https://forum.digitalgamingarena.com/index.php?msg=10390

Oh right, I missed that part.

Jason

Have you ever purchased games from GOG? I like the idea of buying digital games with no DRM and it's not because I want to pirate them, I like that I actually own them.

Yes, I have about 20 games in my GoG library and when I'm looking to add a retro game I often check there because the sales are good too.  Currently eyeballing European Air War for 6.99
