I guess I'm officially old now.  In FC26 the oldest birth year you can pick for your created manager is 1965 which is my birth year.  I'm not sure why, but that kinda hit hard.

Just an update.  I ran into a bug that messed with the results that show up at the end of a race. I'm not sure if it's the game, the 67 mod, or the mod I did by changing the drivers' names to fictional online buddies.  I'm avoiding a reinstall but it may come to that.  For now the project is on a temporary hold, mostly because I enjoy racing more than working the problem

Yes, it seems to work pretty flawlessly and it's great to be able to upscale the old games to modern resolutions with it.  I'm gonna have to spend some time researching and building out a library of PS2 titles to travel around with.

FC26 is fun. Haven't played a fifa for years so I'm always amazed at the advancement in overlays used during games that really add to the experience.

I also was in the mood for some retro gaming and downloaded a ps2 emulator and found gallop racer 2003 and winning eleven 2007 out in the wild.  Been playing on the pc.  Brings back a lot of good memories.  Looking at what's available out there and it's amazing what kind of gaming library you could build on a thumb drive.  Literally everything you need to play on a stick that you can plug into any PC and as long as you have a compatible controller you're off.
